The intensity of government and corporate hacking has not abated. And now it’s a big name in the car that would have been affected by the compromise of its information system: Ferrari.
According to the specialized press, the hack was the work of the infamous Ransomexx group, which recovered more than 7 GB of internal files, or more than 11,000 documents. We already owe him the hacking of dozens of companies, including train manufacturer Bombardier.
11,000 pirated documents?
In this leak we would find “confidential” reservation contracts, names, addresses, technical sheets but also content of the marketing services (“promotions”, “market products”) of the Italian group. As usual, the hackers would have managed to get into the system via ransomware.
The amount of the ransom demanded from the builder is unknown. The latter confirmed to Reuters that internal documents were posted online, but nevertheless indicates that he had no evidence of a breach of his systems or ransomware. He finally stated that there had been no interruption in his business and operations.
And to implement all appropriate actions as necessary, reads a statement.
