Airbus has delivered around 735 planes in 2023, industry sources said on Tuesday, surpassing the European plane maker’s forecast of 720 planes. The company did not want to comment on this information.

Deliveries are a reliable indicator of profitability in aviation because airlines foot most of the bill when they take possession of planes.
