S Club 7 reforms in October for a new tour

The successful British pop group from the late 1990s will return to the stage for the first time since 2015.

The original seven members – Paul Cattermole, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara, Hannah Spearritt, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Rachel Stevens – answered the call. “We want to bring joy and positivity,” Rachel Stevens said at a news conference.

“Our lyrics are so upbeat and so positive. To bring them to today’s kids, it’s great to be able to do that, it’s like enjoying the nostalgia of that time,” she added.

S Club 7 announced his return on Monday in a statement: “After eight years of absence, it is incredible to be able to announce that we are reforming to play together.”

“We can’t believe it’s been so long. Music and friendship have always been at the center of everything we have done in our careers,” they also said.

S Club 7 was founded in 1998 by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller. They rose to fame starring in their own sitcom, miami7, before achieving great success with hits like bring it all back.

The group broke up in 2003 before reforming in 2014. They will reunite next October for an eleven-date tour that concludes on October 28 at London’s O2 Arena.
