In the rest of his statements, the dissident insists that Russians who want to be on the right side of history must shoulder their responsibilities.

“This is war. Either you are on one side of the front or the other. Every Russian citizen, including me, has a collective responsibility in this war,” he insists, referring again to the “fascist dictatorship” his country has. become.

According to Garry Kasparov, Russians seeking political asylum in other countries must sign a three-point declaration “declaring the war criminal, the Putin regime illegitimate and Ukraine indivisible.”

Thus, and under the new legislation put into force by Vladimir Putin at the beginning of the conflict, these people could be prosecuted for various charges and could apply for asylum. Last March, the Russian president had signed a law that punished with prison sentences of up to 15 years for “false information” about Moscow’s actions abroad.
