The city of Odessa, located in southern Ukraine, was the goal of Friday night to Saturday of a massive drone attack in which a person was killed, according to his mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov, Moscow announced the interception of 87 Ukrainian drones.
“Odessa was attacked by enemy drones, more than 20 planes approached the city, from different directions,” said the mayor. “The civil infrastructure has been damaged after this attack. A residential building is on fire, rescuers are rescuing people trapped by fire,” he added. “At the moment, we have the confirmation of a person’s death,” he said.

“Despite the entrance to the action of our Air Defense Forces, there are damage to civil infrastructure, particularly residential buildings,” said Regional Governor Oleg Kiper. The Russian Defense Ministry, on the other hand, reports on the telegram of “Destruction and Interception on Friday night of 87 Ukrainian drones”, including “48 in the British region”, border of Ukraine and “five in the Moscow region, two of which are directed to Moscow.”
During the night from Thursday to Friday, Russian attacks left at least six dead in several Ukrainian regions, according to the country’s authorities, despite the ultimatum raised by Donald Trump in Moscow. In recent weeks, Moscow has repeatedly launched records against Ukraine.
The European Union strengthened its sanctions against Moscow on Friday, pointing to Russian oil gain, hoping that the United States will join soon, if Vladimir Putin persisted in his war against Ukraine.
