Violence in southern Syria has left 718 dead last Sunday, according to a new evaluation provided on Saturday by the Syrian Human Rights Observatory (OSDH).
According to the NGO, 391 Druzes are among the dead, including 146 combatants and 245 civilians, including 165 “summarized by members (of the Ministries of Defense and Interior” in the first days of the fight.
Among the dead there are also 287 members of government forces and 21 Beduine Sunni combatants, including three civilians, “summarily executed by the fighters of the Druses,” according to the OSDH. In addition, 15 members of the government forces were killed in Israeli strikes, according to the NGO.
