A knife attack took place this Saturday, November 1, aboard a train in the Cambridge region, in eastern England, British police announced. Two people were arrested.
“We are currently responding to an incident on a train heading to Huntingdon where a number of people were stabbed,” British Transport Police said in X, and “two people have been arrested.”
Prime Minister Keir Starmer calls the stabbing attack on a train in England “extremely worrying.”
“My thoughts are with all those affected and I thank the emergency services for their intervention,” he added in X.
