Bike sales have slowed sharply in Europe in 2022 after strong growth at the heart of the pandemic, but electric bikes have continued to rise, the Confederation of the European Cycle Industry (Conebi) said on Tuesday.
In 2022, 14.7 million non-electric bicycles were sold in the EU and the United Kingdom, 9.1% less than in 2021.
