Good news when you go on vacation. According to the latest figures published on Monday by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and closed on Friday, July 7, pump prices continued to fall last week, for the second week in a row.
Under the bar of 1.80 euros per liter
This decrease is especially felt for the unleaded 95-E10. The price per liter thus fell 1.3 cents compared to the previous week. This fuel thus falls below the symbolic bar of 1.80 euros per liter, to 1.7895 euros on average. For the first time since late December 2022, when the pump rebates were still in effect.
On the diesel side, the decline also continues, with a fall of 0.9 cents per liter. The liter of diesel is quoted at 1.6658 euros on average.
Since the beginning of May, the price of Brent a barrel has remained well below $80, which has caused prices to fall at the pumps. The first effects of supermarket operations at cost price for the big Christmas outings are also yet to be seen.
