Given the increase in gasoline prices at service stations, Elisabeth Borne wants to authorize distributors who wish to do so to go beyond sales operations at cost price. The Prime Minister announced this Saturday, in an interview with Parisianthe lifting “exceptionally” and for “a period of a few months” of the ban on selling fuel at a loss to allow “distributors to lower prices even further.”
“With this unprecedented measure, we will have tangible results for the French, without subsidizing fuel,” defends the prime minister.
