Fuel prices rose slightly in France last week, after three consecutive weeks of declines. In detail, diesel is priced on average in France at 1.88 euros per liter, 3.4 cents more, and unleaded 95-E10 at 1.83 euros per liter, 1.5 cents more, according to the weekly statement of the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
The fall began when widespread fuel operations at cost price began in mass retail trade at the end of September. For its part, Totalenergies has committed to maintaining its ceiling at 1.99 euros per liter until next year.
This increase takes fuels away from their lowest point of the year: 1.66 euros per liter for diesel in mid-May and 1.79 euros per liter for gasoline at the beginning of July.
This increase is explained by the price of crude oil, since a barrel of North Sea Brent increased by 3.4 dollars last week, to 92.6 dollars.
