Nissan announced on Monday its goal to sell an additional one million vehicles per year within three years compared to its 2023/24 financial year ending this month, during which its sales volume is expected to total 3.55 million units.
At the same time, the Japanese automaker wants to increase its operating margin to more than 6%, up from around 4.8% by 2023/24. Beyond increasing its offering of electrified vehicles, Nissan plans to reduce manufacturing costs for its electric vehicles by 30%, according to a presentation posted online.
