May long weekends: a very difficult Tuesday is expected on French roads

Many motorists will take to the road this Tuesday with a view to the very long May 8 and 9 bridge. Bison Futé anticipates a red day on May 7 throughout France.

Like a feeling of vacation ahead of time. And the corks that traditionally accompany them. Bison Futé organizes a red day this Tuesday, May 7, towards the departures, on the eve of the holidays of May 8 and 9.

As Vinci Autoroutes points out, difficulties are expected from mid-afternoon. Those who leave on Wednesday, May 8, will still encounter difficulties along the way, with a day classified as orange in the direction of departures.

Vinci Autoroutes also points out that the arrival of the Olympic flame in Marseille could particularly complicate traffic in the region.

A very difficult Sunday of laps

Once the weekend is over, you’ll have to come back. Bison Futé predicts a red day in the direction of returns on Sunday, and even black in a large part of the northwest and in the center of the country.

This Sunday, May 12, will be very complicated on the roads, with one of the rare black days of the year predicted by Bison Futé.
