Selected speed: 191 km/h, but still too high for this road limited to 110 km/h.
“His driving license was revoked and the vehicle was placed in administrative custody,” the gendarmes wrote on Facebook, along with a photo of the Jaguar on a truck.

With police mobilised for the Olympics, some drivers seem to think that there will be no more real road controls this summer. This is clearly far from the case, as several interceptions of speeding vehicles have been shared recently.
“And yes, not everyone is providing reinforcements in Paris,” said the police ironically after stopping a Twingo travelling at 180 km/h in early August.
