A show that has managed to find its audience. The 90th edition of the Mondial de l’Auto ended this Sunday afternoon at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, after six days of opening to the general public. In total, attendance reached 508,007 visitors, announced the Hopscotch group, in charge of organizing the event.
A figure significantly higher than the 2022 edition, limited in terms of manufacturers present and which had not surpassed the barrier of 400,000 registrations. The show was returning after the Covid hiatus and a canceled edition in 2020. By comparison, in 2018, almost a million people attended the show.
For this 2024 Paris Motor Show, a total of 48 manufacturers and 158 exhibitors and partners occupied five pavilions in the Exhibition Center, recalls the organization. On Monday, October 14, for press day, more than 4,000 journalists, a quarter of whom were foreign, and 1,000 content creators, were present to cover the event.
See you in 2026
Offered in alternation with the German show, historically in Frankfurt and now in Munich, the Paris Motor Show is already scheduled for October 2026 in a 91st edition. A show that could last longer, with an additional weekend in the studio and that the event organizers want to offer.
