FUTATED BISON: Strong traffic is expected for the last weekend of school holidays

Last straight line for winter holidays. This weekend, in fact, marks the end of the holidays for zone A (Academies de Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Grenoble, Limoges, Lyon and Poitiers), but also the end of Carnival holidays in Belgium with significant difficulties in the expected traffic in certain regions.

Friday Orange in the Southwest

This Friday, March 7, Orange is classified by Bison Futé, in the direction of departures and returns.

“The main difficulties are expected in the southwest axes, at the end of the afternoon. In the direction of the outputs, the A63 and A64 highways must worry. In the direction of the returns, the traffic will be dense on the A64 and A61 highways,” says the traffic prognosis service.

• Avoid A63 highway, between Bordeaux and Bayona, from 4 pm to 8 pm
• Avoid A64 highway, between Toulouse and Pau, 4 pm to 7 pm

In the Directorate of Returns:

• Avoid A64 highway between PAU and Toulouse, from 4 pm to 8 pm
• Avoid A61 highway, between Narbonne and Toulouse, 4 pm to 8 pm

Saturday Orange in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

For the day of Saturday, March 8, it is the Auvergn-Rhône-Alpes region that Orange is classified in both directions.

“In the direction of the departures, the day must be charged from the middle of the morning and until the end of the afternoon, on the A43 and the National N85 essentially. In the direction of the returns, the A40 and A43 highways will concentrate the main decelerations throughout the day,” says Futé.

• Avoid the A43 highway, between Lyon and the Fréjus tunnel, from 11 am to 5 pm
• Avoid National 85, between Grenoble and Gap, from 10 am to 5 pm

In the Directorate of Returns:

• Avoid A40 highway between Passy and Mâcon, from 10 am to 2 pm
• Avoid A43 highway between the Fréjus and Lyon tunnel, from 9 am to 6 pm

Finally, on Sunday, March 9, return to Green throughout the continental France with the usual interruption of a weekend end to take into account.
