This is a long-awaited drop in discounts by motorists, to the point of triggering a certain avalanche at the stations for a few days. This Wednesday, November 16, the Government’s reduction will drop from 30 to 10 cents per liter and that of TotalEnergies from 20 to 10 cents.
In the Total network, therefore, we must expect a price increase of 30 cents per liter overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday. In the motorist’s final bill, what does this reduction in bonuses represent?
A tank full of diesel that exceeds 100 euros
On a full tank of 50 liters, 30 cents more per liter of fuel represents an increase of 15 euros compared to the current price of a full tank.
If we take the last average price of the 95-E10 Without Lead, at 1.6222 euros per liter, a 50-liter tank in Total will cost 81.11 euros this weekend and will therefore drop to 96.11 euros. For diesel, at 1.8319 euros per liter, the bill goes from 91.59 euros to 106.59 euros.
In the other brands, which did not apply an additional discount to that of the government, the increase will simply be due to the reduction of the State bonus, that is, an increase of 20 cents per liter. In our same full of 50 liters, therefore, it is necessary to count on an increase of 10 euros in the final note.
Always with the latest average prices available, the complete SP95-E10 at 81.11 euros thus goes to 91.11 euros, that of diesel, from 91.59 euros to 101,595 euros.
