In Continental France, the number of roads on the roads fell by 14% in February compared to the same month last year, but on Thursday the security abroad increased.

According to estimates of the National Interministerial Observatory for Road Safety (ONISR), in February 2025, months with 28 days, 195 people lost their lives on the roads of Continental France against 227 in February 2024, one bissextile year, a 14%drop.

The ONISR indicates a decrease in the death of pedestrians (32 killed 18 less), motorists (104 dead, or 8 less) and two -wheeled motorized vehicles (28 killed 5 less). The mortality of cyclists remains stable with 13 dead.

In the 3,276 body accidents on the roads registered in Continental France in February 2025, they were stable in view compared to February 2024-914 injured, a 9%drop.

On the other hand, abroad, according to Onisr, an increase of 12% of the murdered on the road was recorded in February, with 19 deaths, accompanied by an increase in the number of body accidents (270,+7%).

The number of injured, 354, has also increased, with +13% compared to February 2024.
