Tesla announces that global sales decrease 13% in the first quarter

From January to March, Tesla indicates that it has delivered more than 336,000 vehicles, a 13% drop compared to the first quarter of 2024.

The global sales of the Tesla car manufacturer, a specialist in electric vehicles, fell 13% in the first quarter for a year to be at a much lower level than the analysts’ forecasts, the US group announced on Wednesday, April 2.

In detail, Tesla indicates that it has produced just over 362,000 vehicles, for just over 336,000 deliveries. Mainly model 3 and the model and, which are not distinguished in the figures communicated by Tesla, but that represent almost 95% of the indicated volumes.

41% drop in records in France

In France, Tesla’s records fell 41% in the first quarter, but in a context of renewal of its main model, the Model SUV and, whose deliveries began in March.

The brand is taken to evil (vandalism, boycott calls, demonstrations) in the United States and other countries since its boss, billionaire Elon Musk, has approached President Donald Trump, of which he is now a close advisor responsible for reducing federal expenditure.
