The Japanese company Kawasaki presents a futuristic robotic pony

As part of the universal exhibition that takes place in Osaka from April to October 2025, Kawasaki reveals his vision of mobility in the future.

To climb the mountains and walk, will we change the car, bicycle or motorcycles for a robotic pony? This is the commitment that Bansrepend Kawasaki, a two -wheel specialist, which he presented on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of Osaka, a prototype, the corle.

Therefore, this is a robot that has the ability to move thanks to its four robotic legs in almost all land. On his back, we will have the possibility of hitting the slopes and even making spectacular jumps to avoid cracks.

A planned robot for 2050

The demonstration video allows to better understand the interest of this new means of transport, described by its manufacturer as a “revolution”.

As it is, it is more a motorcycle, but their front legs work independently of those behind, which makes the walks more pleasant, since the clashes are less felt by the user.

Obviously, there is no price, especially because it must be very patient for a day to see the flowering of Corloe in the field: Kawasaki hopes to sell it from 2050.

Corleo works thanks to a 150cc hydrogen engine, which has the ability to produce electricity that supplies the four generators located in the legs. A large board then provides several information to the pilot, including the speed or direction that will be taken, but also the remaining load.

Therefore, to successfully unravel, the project is based on hydrogen, a source of energy that has not yet been demonstrated, especially in the automotive sector. Several projects are being carried out, including BMW, which plans to offer a first model in 2028.
