The social lease will return to the beginning of the school year. In fact, the Government had announced at the beginning of summer the opening of orders since September 30 for version 2025 of this device, allowing homes with modest income to change to electricity through a long -term rental, partially financed by public aid.
50,000 files for this year
After the success found last year, 50,000 files can benefit from the social lease again. The beneficiaries must justify a fiscal income of reference per share less than or equal to 16,300 euros in the tax notice of 2025 related to the income of 2024. This personal vehicle must also be used to go to work, located at least 15 km from the house, or to carry out more than 8,000 km per year within the framework of its professional activity.
If the state aid for each file has been sharply reduced, from 13,000 to 7,380 euros, it allows to completely cover the contribution or the first increased rental for lease, with rental between 95 and 200 euros per month in contracts of 36 or 37 months.

Eligible vehicles are those that can also benefit from the ecological bonus and, therefore, comply with the criteria of “environmental score” defined by the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
