Fuels: prices at the pump fall again

In the wake of higher oil prices, prices at the pump also fell last week at the pump. With, in particular, a pronounced drop in the price of diesel.

After the drop in government reimbursement and a sharp (mechanical) rise in prices last week, prices at the pump are starting to fall again this week. According to the latest official price survey conducted by the Ministry of Ecological Transition -closed on Friday, November 25-, prices fell last week on average for both fuels, due to the drop in the price of a barrel.

A drop of 4.5 cents in the price of a liter of diesel

The price of a liter of diesel thus loses 4.5 cents, reaching an average of 1.8611 euros. Not enough to return to the 1.802 euros per liter registered a fortnight ago, before the end of the 10-cent government cut, but to return (largely) below the symbolic bar of 1.90 euros that has been exceeded In the past week.

The price of a liter of gasoline has also fallen. The liter of 95-E10 without lead thus loses 3.6 cents compared to the previous week, to reach an average of 1.7152 euros. Prices thus return to rates close to the end of August, before the implementation of the government rebate.

10 cents discount until the end of the year

If it has decreased, the latter still represents a discount of 10 cents from the price to be displayed. This aid will last until the end of December before being replaced by a dedicated aid for heavy cyclists. TotalEnergies has also reduced its rebate, from 20 to 10 cents. The latter will also last until the end of December.
