1.90 euros, or even 1.80 euros per liter instead of 2 euros. According to the latest figures from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition, as of Friday, March 17, the prices of diesel and 95 E10 unleaded have fallen slightly on average last week in France.
The biggest drop is on the diesel side, which lost 2 cents per liter compared to the previous week. A liter of diesel was thus sold last week at 1.8183 euros per liter.
A less marked drop in gasoline
The drop per liter of unleaded 95-E10 is less pronounced, only 0.4 cents per liter. The average price of the SP95-E10 was therefore 1.8842 euros per liter last week.
Pump prices depend on several factors: the price of the barrel but also the price of refined products, the different margins from refining to distribution, as well as transportation costs.
After a price rise in January, after the end of the bonuses, prices have stabilized since the beginning of February at an average between 1.80 and 1.90 euros per liter of gasoline and diesel. Please note that applications for the fuel voucher, which has replaced reductions at the pump with a more restricted basis, are possible until March 31.
