Riots: the FDJ “has already managed to put 153 points of sale back into operation,” says its boss

Invited to the set of BFM Business, the general director of Française des Jeux Stéphane Pallez assured that the company managed to relaunch 153 points of sale out of the 400 demoted during the recent riots.

The tight business sector is mobilized to expedite the restart of the points of sale destroyed during the riots of the last days. While the Confederation of tobacconists mentioned at the end of the afternoon the census of 429 degraded establishments, the general director of the Française des Jeux announced a reopening that had already begun for more than a third of them. “From this weekend we work with them, by their side and I want to convey my solidarity and the effort of my teams so that they return to activity as soon as possible”, insisted Stéphane Pallez on the set of BFM Business. . .

The head of the FDJ also stressed the absence of “physical consequences” on the affected partner merchants who, on the other hand, are more affected on a psychological level. “About 400 points of sale have been downgraded at various levels, be they tobacco bars or newspaper distributors, with a high concentration in the Paris region,” he confirmed.

Inventory and cash management and complementary systems

To support these hundreds of entrepreneurs, the Française des Jeux acts in various fields depending on the situations that are not the same between looted and “only” degraded sites. “We are replenishing their stocks, we will be attentive to their cash flow in the coming weeks so as not to accentuate their difficulties, specifies Stéphane Pallez.

The head of the FDJ also took the opportunity to recall the existence of various aid systems such as France Victime “which allows a merchant to call to request support, particularly short-term psychological support.” He also mentioned the Crésus association with which the company collaborates to help people in difficulty or the Rebond fund created during the coronavirus pandemic and “which can be mobilized today”.
