The Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, which links Russia with Germany, has stopped leaking under the Baltic Sea, a spokesman said on Saturday.
Two leaks occurred on the Danish side and another two on the Swedish side, according to a Swedish authority official, after two suspicious explosions occurred on Monday morning and evening.
A “deliberate act”?
The report sent to the Security Council estimates that these leaks are due to underwater explosions equivalent to “hundreds of kilos” of TNT.
NATO’s secretary general said Friday that allies will defend their strategic infrastructure and participate in the ongoing investigation to “determine who is behind these attacks.”
