Emmanuel Macron wished this Friday the establishment of a “demanding framework” and the “ordering” of public finances in the budget project for 2024, during a speech at the opening of the first Council of Ministers of the new government team.
Referring to the “credibility of France in Europe”, he considered that this requirement, particularly in terms of reducing the public deficit, “by itself, can allow us to be strong”.
The Head of State will be able to count, in particular, on Thomas Cazenave, who replaces Gabriel Attal as Delegate Minister of Public Accounts.
