FEEBAT participates in the energy transition…
The FEEBAT program did not wait for the approval of the “Climate and Resilience” law to participate in the ecological transition of existing buildings. Since 2008, FEEBAT has been running effective training courses to train construction professionals in activity or in the future in energy saving and in carrying out efficient and quality energy renovations. These renovations are a fundamental lever to help reduce the energy consumption of buildings and reduce GHG emissions. FEEBAT’s offer differs from that of its competitors since it was established in collaboration with public administrations and ADEME and the players representing professionals or players in initial training. FEEBAT training is based on a quality process. The program selects the training organizations, as well as the trainers, trained prior to the sessions they conduct. In addition, since its inception, FEEBAT has been financed by the energy saving certificate system (CEE).
…has recognized dedicated training
Energy rehabilitation requires the intervention of competent professionals in the field. These must have the RGE (Recognized Guarantor of the Environment) label, but also in some cases be able to carry out an energy audit to allow their clients to benefit from the financial aid offered by the State, either from MaPrimeRénov’, zero rate Eco-Loan (Eco-PTZ) or energy saving certificates (CEE). The RENOVE and Thermal Renewable Energies training courses are the two most requested training courses. The Audit Reno training course is, for example, dedicated to work professionals who wish to obtain the qualification (1) as “energy auditor in a single-family home”, Qualibat 87.31.
(1) Education or training is one of the conditions to obtain it, but not the only one.
… continue to implement these trainings
In 2022/2023, 7,300 professionals received training with the support of FEEBAT. The RENOVE training course, which allows obtaining the RGE (1) label for non-thermal energy work categories, was attended by 3,100 people. 3,650 professionals benefited from training in the implementation of renewable thermal energies (2,130 in training in heat pumps and 1,040 in wood heating equipment).
Architects are not forgotten, with DynaMOE 1 training around energy renovation of individual houses. 327 architects have already been trained with the support of FEEBAT.
Part of the cost of the training may be covered by the FEEBAT program. Thus, liberal architects are supported by FEEBAT up to 50% of their training, the FIF PL completes the financing. The professionals who collaborate with Constructys and FACEA receive 40% of their training through FEEBAT.
… and began to implement them for teachers and trainers of young people
FEEBAT does more than train working construction professionals. It also addresses future professionals, students, trainees, students from CAP to BTS, and trains their teachers and trainers. The first two, currently underway, address the challenges of energy renewal and the principles of energy efficiency.
To date, 56 training actions have been organized, involving more than 750 CFA teachers and trainers. FEEBAT’s goal is to train almost 3,000 CFA teachers and trainers by the end of 2023. The pedagogical cost of this training is covered by FEEBAT.
By developing a varied and quality training for professionals in activity or in training, FEEBAT thus participates in the ecological transition, essential to limit energy consumption, global warming and respect the Green Pact (Green Deal) of the European Union for 2050.
