Electricity: EDF claims the return of 100,000 private customers per month since August

In a context of rising electricity prices, EDF indicates that it has registered the return of 100,000 customers to its offers every month since the end of the summer. The energy company announces that it will close the year 2022, with a growing market share.

EDF finds its individual clients. “Since August, 100,000 private clients return to EDF each month, while before there were more than 100,000 clients who left each month, explained the energy company during a press conference. We are going to end 2022 with a larger market share than we had at the beginning of 2022.”

The company is benefiting from rising electricity prices on the wholesale market, which is making it difficult for alternative providers with whom private individuals often compete.
