The president of Medef Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux spoke out in the press on Monday against a “minimum percentage of older people” in companies, a line of thought put on the table by the Government to promote the employment of older people.
The Prime Minister, Elisabeth Borne, has made “the hiring of older people and the fight against discrimination of which older people may be victims” one of the axes of future consultations on pension reform.
“It does not mean anything”
The Labor Minister, Olivier Dussopt, who is piloting this controversial reform, confirmed in an interview with the JDD that the creation of this index “will be part of the discussions” that it will have with the social partners in the coming weeks.
