Some 73,000 homes were still without electricity on Monday afternoon in Brittany and Normandy, after the passage of Storm Ciaran during the night from Wednesday to Thursday, reported the person responsible for the distribution network, Enedis.
The public company still had 93,000 customers without electricity on Monday morning. 1.2 million homes were left in the dark after the storm.
500 generators were transported and distributed to affected areas, as well as 500 repair kits to repair sites. 8,000 poles have been ordered and transported, while 30 helicopters are being mobilized, as well as drones, Enedis described.
