SNCF: TGV Max Actif subscriptions increase between 5 and 10%

These packages, very popular among teleworkers, allow you to take the TGV several times a week. The operator cites a “strong development of uses.”

Bad news for the approximately 20,000 holders of a TGV Max Actif and TGV Max Actif+ subscription from the SNCF.

This Thursday they learned that the price of these packages would increase next year: +10% for the first, +5% for the second, starting February 1, 2024 and only for the second class, reports The Parisian.

Already +5% at the beginning of 2023

Remember that these packages, very popular among teleworkers, allow you to take the TGV several times a week on the same route (two or three round trips for the first, four to five for the second).

If the price of this pass (which varies depending on the trip) is partly financed by the employer, the rest is not negligible and, therefore, will increase for these frequent travelers. Especially since these prices have already increased by 5% in 2023.

On a Max Actif pass between Paris and Lyon, the monthly price therefore increases from 360 to 396 euros, that is, a one-way ticket in second class at 18 euros on average compared to “between 40 and 45 euros media” for a classic ticket, call the operator again.
