The CGT of TotalEnergies said it had proposed this Wednesday morning to the group’s management a “protocol for the end of the conflict”, after more than three weeks of strike in the refineries, according to what the union learned.
This proposal called for “the establishment of negotiations on employment and investment, local negotiations on the specific issues raised by the strikers,” as well as “guarantees on the absence of repression against the strikers.” said Eric Sellini, CGT national coordinator for TotalEnergies as the sites begin voting to decide whether or not to continue with the movement. According to him, the management rejected this proposal, which TotalEnergies could not immediately confirm.
