The requisitions, but above all the end of the strike at some Totalenergies depots and refineries, now make it possible to reduce the fuel shortage in France. However, this Wednesday, there were still 20.3% of service stations in difficulty with strong regional disparities.
As bookings for the All Saints holidays collapse, the question is on everyone’s lips: will the French be able to take their car to go on vacation?
“In the best possible conditions”
On BFMTV, Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy and Finance, confirms that the situation is “slowly” improving on the fuel supply front.
“We are doing our best. I can tell you that everyone is doing everything possible to get things back to normal before the holidays. I never take compromises lightly in matters that concern the freedom of movement of our compatriots. We are doing everything possible to guarantee a holiday outing in the best possible conditions”, insists the Bercy tenant.
