According to the latest figures from Dares, 7 out of 10 professions were in high or very high stress in 2021 in France.

The issue of the many tense jobs that they fail to hire comes up again. This time, the government plans create a specific residence permit for irregular workers in a sector that needs labor to better meet business needs.

These tense occupations are becoming more and more numerous. Dares thus considers in his last note on the matter (September 2022 for the year 2021) that “after a decline in 2020, tensions in the labor market are increasing and in 2021 they reach their highest level since 2011. They are increasing in practically all occupations and are especially strong in of construction, industry, IT and telecommunications, as well as nurses”.

Nursing, a profession where the difficulties are of the greatest

Five professions have appeared in the last top 30 jobs in tension of the Dares, in particular as a result of the pandemic. This is the case for nurses, who are among the professions where tensions rise the most between 2020 and 2021. This also affects skilled workers who work in metal dismantling, expert technicians, supervisors and similar workers in the industries of process, carpenters and design and insulation. workers

On the contrary, five professions come out of this same top 30: helpers and housewives, engineers and administrative executives, computer maintenance, stone and related materials professionals, other paramedical professionals and specialists in medical equipment.
