Its operating profit (Ebit) was 7,300 million, 84.4% more.

Exceptional bonus of 1,500 euros for employees

“An exceptional bonus of 1,500 euros will be awarded to each Group employee worldwide,” the group further specifies. in a press release.

“Our financial situation allows us to contribute to crisis management through the mobilization of our cash, government profit-sharing mechanisms, as well as support systems for our clients,” said the general manager, Catherine MacGregor. In particular, Engie intends to pay bonuses to its cheapest customers.

France’s main gas supplier also said it was “confident” of its ability to supply for next winter, without Russian gas.
