ARC Global Services is a subsidiary of my Fekra group. We have two centers of excellence. The first refers to services to financial companies, which are subsidiaries of large groups. We take care of the management of your banking back-office: the entry of customer files, studies and their management. The second center of excellence concerns IT business services, data, blockchain and all things digital.
Why is loyalty essential to strengthen your areas of expertise?
I created ARC Global Services with the aim of escaping from the stress on resources that exists in Paris and which particularly affects the IT environment. The phenomena of great resignation and turnover are gaining strength in ESNs, because people have changed their way of life with Covid and teleworking, and this is causing a loss of skills. Settling in Rouen, which is an hour from Paris, has allowed us to build experience centers and retain employees thanks to a better quality of life and a set of procedures that we have implemented to have better monitoring. This greater loyalty allows us to maintain our skills, which is the ultimate goal, because when we lose employees, we lose part of our experience and we have to train new people.
How has the remote workplace evolved for IT employees?
Telecommuting had been part of our operation for a long time, but before our clients did not work with this modality of work, so we had to create a balance. Now they have adopted it, with an average of 10 days of teleworking per month. Our employees have the freedom to work from home or in our offices, which are always open. You just have to find the balance between the two.
How is your facility helping to revitalize the region and move IT and financial services to France?
Establishing ourselves in Rouen when ARC Global Services was created a year ago, we created 50 jobs, including about 30 management positions. Our goal is to have 150 employees by the end of 2023, with around one hundred management positions.
Many of these activities have been delocalized, while we have the means to carry them out in France, especially IT services for banks. Rouen is a region with many banks, and the necessary skills exist, after a training course in which we support our employees. So we are recreating jobs in the regions, and especially in France. And our clients are better supported by experts trained to respond quickly and we are more competitive than other French-speaking countries.
