Dutch Airlines Klm has decided to nail seven Boeing 787 on the ground, causing the cancellation of at least three flights from Amsterdam airport, said the Dutch news agency ANP on Saturday, May 3.
The three flights in question were destined for Mexico City, Chicago and Portland. In total, almost 650 passengers have been a significant delay due to this problem.
The company expects to limit the effects for passengers
According to KLM, the problem refers to a component used during the fuel supply of the plane. The company, which is part of the Air France-KLM group, says it does everything possible to minimize the impact on passengers.
KLM has a fleet of 228 airplanes, including 24 Boeing 787, devices used mainly for long flights.
