Air France and Lufthansa were one of the airlines that avoided Pakistan on Monday overflowing, according to flight monitoring data and commercial statements, in an exacerbated climate of tensions between Karachi and New Dehli of a deadly attack against Indian cashmere.
The Indian authorities accuse Pakistan of being behind the attack against tourists who killed 26 people in the Pahalgam region on April 22 and took a series of sanctions against their neighbor of the 1947 score.
Lufthansa Group said in a press release that his companies “avoid paquistani airspace until new notice,” and added that this decision would extend the duration of the flight in certain links to Asia. The German group added to follow the evolution of the situation closely.

Air France also declared in a press release that he had decided to suspend the overview of Pakistan until further notice, citing “the recent evolution of tensions” with India.
The air group added that it changed its schedules and flight plans to destinations such as Delhi, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City and that the flight durations would be affected.
The follow -up data have also revealed that some British airways, the Swiss international airlines and the Emirates are overlooking Pakistani airspace when branched north, in the direction of Delhi, after flying over the Arabic sea.
The LH760 flight trip from Lufthansa between Frankfurt and New Delhi lasted almost an hour more than usual, on Sunday, after having opted for a longer trip, according to data from the Flightradar24 monitoring site.
British Airways and Emirates did not immediately respond to comments requests. Reuters could not immediately reach the authority of
Pakistani civil aviation for a comment.
