The European Commission has committed to the European Union to abandon Russian fossil fuels by 2027, in response to the invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
The European Union (EU) will present a road map on Tuesday on the way in which it plans to reduce its energy dependence on Russia, the spokesman for the European Commission, Stefan de Keersmaecker said on Monday.
The details of the plan will be presented by Dan Jorgensen, European Energy and Housing Commissioner.
Towards more American gas imports?
