Remember that since Donald Trump’s return to the White House in January, his administration has imposed new customs duties in a total amount of 145% in China’s goods, to which sectoral measures are added, the cumulative rights of certain products that rise up to 245%.
Beijing had retaliation by imposing 125% of customs tariffs on American imports to the country, as well as more specific measures. The country has promised not “bend” and its application for an integral uprising of American surcharge remains “unchanged.”
