5% of GDP for its defense (against 2.1% today): Germany says it is “ready” to follow Trump’s demand

Germany announces that they want to bring their 5% defense efforts, a rate claimed by Donald Trump of NATO countries.

The German Foreign Minister said Thursday that Berlin was ready to “follow” the president of the United States, Donald Trump, in his will that all the member countries of the Alliance were proposed as a goal of dedicating 5% of their GDP to the defense.
