Novo Nordisk Boss leaves their homework

The company justifies the departure of its general director Lars Fruergaard Jørgensen for “recent market challenges” and “the decrease in the title court” in recent months.

Pleado by a title that has collapsed for almost a year, the Danish pharmaceutical giant Novo Novo Nordisk, known for his diabetes treatments and weight loss, announced this Friday, May 16, separated from his general manager Lars Fruergaard Jørgensen.

“Given the recent challenges in the market, the fall in the title and desire of the Novo Nordisk Foundation (majority shareholder), the Board of Directors of Novo Nordisk and Lars Fruerdaard Jørgensen have jointly concluded that starting to look for a new general director is better of the company and its actions,” the group wrote in a press release.

A time that has the title of the largest European company in the stock market, Novo Nordisk has yielded to the German professional software company SAP. The action of the Danish group has lost more than 31% since the beginning of the year and more than 52% for a year.
