Unlimited packages are on the rise. After streaming, pizzas, tacos or even amusement parks (with Disneyland) it’s time to try the adventure on the air.
At the risk of making environmentalists scream, US low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines offers the GoWild! spend. This card, sold in 1999 dollars, was traded for two days (last November 16 and 17) at $599. It simply allows unlimited travel on the company’s domestic flights for a year, but also to Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
“An Evidence”
“If you plan to travel at least once a month, that makes sense to you. If you’re willing to travel once a week, that’s a no-brainer.” USA TodayBarry Biffle, CEO of Denver-based Frontier Airlines.
The offer, attractive to Americans who take the plane or train within the country, is however subject to some conditions and restrictions.
The package does not include a symbolic contribution in the purchase of tickets (1 cent), or airport taxes, or charges related to luggage or seat selection.
Reservations for flights can be made starting May 2 and some dates will not be available, including long weekends and most holidays. Also, the last seats on a flight will not always be accessible to holders of this pass.
Obviously, it cannot be lent and will be automatically renewed for a period of one year, unless canceled by the holder.
