Amazon announced Monday, on the occasion of Choice France Summit, an investment plan of more than 300 million euros in France with the creation of more than 1,500 permanent jobs.
“We are proud to announce an investment plan of more than 300 million euros today that will create more than 1,500 permanent jobs in France in the coming years,” said Frédéric Duval, CEO of Amazon.fr.
“Additional investments”
There are also “additional investments in our existing logistics network, in particular to transform the Boves Distribution Center (Somme) into one of our most technologically advanced sites in France, while increasing its workforce.”
The American group recently celebrated its 25 years of presence in France and says that more than 35 logistics facilities in France operate today.
The company already had, on the occasion of the 2024 edition of the Choice France Summit, organized by Elysée to attract foreign investments to France, announced more than 1.2 billion euros in investments and more than 3,000 jobs. The 2025 ads are added to those of 2024, Amazon specifies.
These statements are among the first ads of the Choice France Summit. The American logistics giant Prologis will also announce on Monday an investment in France of 6,400 million euros, in stores and data centers.
