The European combat aircraft project (SCAF), stalled for more than a year, will be the subject of an “imminent” agreement between industrialists Dassault and Airbus, two French sources close to the folder told AFP on Friday.
At the end of August 2021, the three interested countries, France, Germany and Spain, had signed an agreement that provides for 3.6 billion euros in detailed studies to start the construction of an in-flight demonstrator in 2025. But the contracts were not they had signed due to a lack of agreement on the division of tasks between the French manufacturer Dassault Aviation and its main partner Airbus.
