A container ship that beat the Singapore pavilion caught on Monday off the southern coast of India, said the Ministry of Defense, who said they sent a Coast Guard plane and a warship. The photos taken by a plane of the coasts show a thick black smoke plume and containers that seem to have been projected by a powerful explosion on board.

An Indian destroyer was diverted to help the boat that suffered damage. The defense minister said that the 268 meter ship had caught fire to around 78 nautical miles of the port of Beypore, located in the state of Kerala, in the southwest of India. The NDTV television channel reported that 18 of the 22 crew members had abandoned the ship, citing a navy official who requested anonymity. The ministry did not communicate with the possible help of the rescue.
At the end of May, a container ship that surpassed the Liberian pavilion that transported dangerous products had fluid from the kerala. The Indian Navy had rescued the 24 crew members.
