The benefits of unemployment insurance will be updated at 0.5% on July 1, UNEDED said Wednesday, specifying that “2.1 million beneficiaries are affected.”
It was taken during a Board of Directors and was voted “by most votes,” adds the Unédic.
The minimum allocation ranges from 31.97 euros per day to 32.13 euros.
40% of registrants are compensated
In its latest financial forecasts in mid -June, the UNEDIC indicated a deficit of 300 million euros in 2025 and indicated a “paralyzed” elimination with 59.8 billion euros in the expected debt in 2025.
In France, employees are provided against unemployment risk. But all employment applicants are not compensated, far from that, for some because enough time have worked.
In early 2024, 40% of employment applicants registered in France’s work were compensated.
