Treitalia further strengthens its commercial offer in the Paris-Lyon line, the busiest of the French rail network.
The High Speed Train Operator Rouge announces “a round trip, additional daily between Paris Gare de Lyon and Lyon Part-Dieu, as well as the new Paris-Marsella line in service since June 15, which marks a stop at Lyon Saint-Exupéry. Some trains also serve Lyon Perrache.”
In general, it now offers 19 daily trains to Lyon, some of which extend to Marseille and Milan. Enough to approach the very dense offer of SNCF travelers in this strategic axis.
Three million French clients in three years
“In response to a 40% increase in traffic between Paris and Lyon between 2023 and 2024, Treitalia deploys an enriched time network, which covers all day. Travelers benefit from morning outputs for professionals, as well as new options at the end of the afternoon,” continues the French subsidiary of the transalpine historical operator.
“Thanks to their judgments in several stations of Lyonnais-Part-Dieu, Perrache, Saint-Exupéry-Trenitalia offers greater flexibility to join or leave Lyon. This territorial network makes it possible to meet the needs of leisure as professionals, adapting to the various areas of activity and housing of the Metropolis of Lyon,” the company gathers.
Last January, to celebrate its third anniversary in France, Trenitalia welcomed having transported “almost three million travelers.”
While competition in French Rail is still struggling to emerge in France, the Italian operator intends to accelerate in 2025 to develop their positions and double the number of its customers. Thanks to the reopening of the connection with Milan, but especially when launching its Paris-Marslla last June (four trips round per day).
