Now it will be easier to resell your ouigo tickets. The Ouigoswap service, which until now has been open for trains that are complete, will now be available for all trains, announces the SNCF that specifies that the visibility of the tickets delivered to the sale will also be improved.
This platform was configured in 2022 to allow the SNCF to optimize the filling of its cars. As a reminder, UAIGO tickets: the low cost offer of the SNCF- cannot be canceled or refunded. They can simply be sold in Ouigoswap.
Until now, users could only resell their ticket if the train was full, which greatly limited the offer. To avoid this limitation, travelers turned to the sites that allowed it or on social networks and, in particular, Facebook sold their UAIGO ticket that they did not plan to use. Now, the SNCF offers this service to cut the grass under the foot of these parallel resale markets.
Buyers can find good offers in Ouigoswap with reduced prices of up to -50%. However, the vendors on their side recover only 80% of the initial purchase price, if of course, the ticket finds a lessee on the platform.
“Ouigoswap is a small revolution in the supply of low -cost train tickets. With this new exclusive platform open to all our trains, we hope to facilitate the delivery of tickets, so that it benefits a greater number of customers,” said Jérôme Laffon, director of Ouigo, in a press release.
