New obligations in France

It is expected that the heat wave that began on Monday will last until Sunday, according to the country’s weather service (Emy).

Temperatures could reach 40 ° C in Athens and Salon on Tuesday, with planned 43 ° C peaks in the center of Greece.

On Thursday, the capital could register a maximum temperature of 41 ° C, Emy said.

In France, a decree applied since July 1 requires employers for workers protection provisions, graduated in accordance with the surveillance levels established by Météo-France.

This decree requires some provisions to “adapt the schedules, suspend painful tasks during the warmest hours, better adjust rest periods.”
